The only reason I know about this is because I heard it on a podcast before..

Y'all never heard of a Jack Mormon? Had a friend who was one. Dude was all devout when in Salt Lake. The second we would drive across the state line he would be hollering for a beer from the cooler and start cussing like a sailor. On the way back to the airport, he would chug a beer just before the state line. It's well accepted with them that they cheat on their faith as long as no other Mormons are around to rat them out. They are a lot like Muslims that way.

This Soaking thing is the same deal. They are banging like rabbits but telling their friends they were Soaking. When your God demands that you lie to yourself and your friends, it's time to find a new God.

The joke in Utah is that if you are taking a Mormon fishing you should take a second one, otherwise the first one will drink all of your beer.
