I was talking with my wife about this and that's what prompted it.

I was thinking it is the Gonzales cut.

I strongly disagree, the Kate+8 haircut is straight-up Gonzales.

Seriously, what is it about Gonzales women and hair? Since the late 70's I don't think I've heard any conversation that involved Gonzales in which "Gonzales Hair" was not eventually mentioned. And the times I've gotten roped into being there for some kind of social event, I have to say it's well deserved. No matter the decade or the style, whatever the technique is that's required to get "that look", they are somehow obligated to take it one or two steps too far, and then over-the-top-it and exaggerate it just once more for good measure.... ....and they still aren't finished until they accessorize it with the gum chewing.
