Y'all motha frickas need Jesus. Crystal's and Louisiana are both basically vinegar with some red food coloring, which can be okay if you just want something to drown a slice of pizza in. Hot sauce, by definition, is supposed to be hot. Tabasco is still mostly vinegar, but at least it has a little heat.

This is correct. Don’t get the downvotes. It’s fine if u prefer a non-hot sauce with your food. Just don’t call it what it’s not.

Crystal because it's not just hot, it has flavor

There is no heat whatsoever. Flavor in lots of things.

I mean, I have probably 25 hot sauces in my fridge and close to 10 are habanero or hotter with most being ghost or hotter. Crystal is still the best tasting everyday sauce in its category. Doesn't have to be scorching to be a good hot sauce.

Exactly. I don’t like hot sauce for being hot. I like it for adding flavor to whatever I’m eating.

Well I love heat, but Crystal is good with most everything.

I use different sauces for most things though.

If you’ve never had Tiger Sauce with beef and noodle casserole, chicken spaghetti, or shrimp fettuccine alfredo, you have never lived my friend. Tiger Sauce is the best with sauce or gravy-based dishes.

For everyday use, any of Crystal, Panola, Louisiana Red Dot, or Trappeys will do. They taste all basically the same, although I think Crystal has a slightly more vinegar taste and is the best for combining with honey and brown sugar in making grilled hot wing marinade.

Also, Tabasco is good from time to time for variety’s sake, but there is just something about it that just don’t jee-haw in everyday use.

Hot sauce should at least have a little bit of heat to be considered “hot” sauce. I am not a give me the fire wings type of person. I just experienced zero zilch none heat when trying Crystal. Maybe it was a bad bottle.

My favorite bbq sauce is great but I won’t call it my favorite hot sauce.

Tobacco for seafood, Louisiana for red beans, and Crystal for everything else

You ever consider it's not hot to people used to eating well seasoned food?

Take this to some dude in the midwest who's used to shitty, bland food and he probably thinks it's plenty hot.

Someone who grows up in Louisiana and puts this shite on most everything they eat from childhood to today probably doesn't think it's hot.

Take it to someone from India and they'll probably use it to cool their mouth down. Ordering Indian spicy is the GOAT.

That’s fine i guess. It’s not hot at all. Am I taking crazy pills? I don’t give a frick what India thinks about Louisiana hot sauce...the state, not the brand.

...but I do love Indian food and the heat.

Bottom line is this. Most people don’t actually like HOT sauce. People like crystal whatever the frick it is no heat whatsoever sauce. People like ranch too. It’s just garbage for the Burger King masses...that they put in the hot sauce category.

My point was relativity. Someone accustomed to eating spicy foods or who uses hot sauce more often probably has a higher heat tolerance.

I love Crystal and I'm a heat junkie, but I see your point too. I don't use Crystal for heat, I use it and Tabasco basically as a flavored vinegar. I have much hotter stuff to use for heat.

Ya. I get it. I just don’t see the heat at all. And like I said, I’m not someone that blasts my tastebuds with heat. There is no heat AT ALL with crystal, for Indians or Czechs or whatever. Unless I got a dud bottle.
