Most disturbing ones I’ve seen on TD are the female reporter who was gunned down while conducting an interview by her coworker...and the one where the elevator malfunctioned and turned a poor college kid into an accordion.

yeah that was only like a few years ago right?
also the one that sticks with me is the chinese woman who gets on an escalator and it opens up and she throws her kid to safety right before it eat her.
that one is heartbreaking to me.

It's not a video (thankfully) but the audio of Shirley Ledford's torture at the hands of the Toolbox Killers. She ended up begging them to kill her. Unimaginable what that 18 year old went through. They both died in prison in 2019 and 2020 while waiting execution.

Same theme, not a video. One of the worst things I've read about is the murder and torture of Junko Furuta. Killers got off so light.

There is no audio of this that exists online. There is, however, a transcript of the audio that can be read online and it is one of the worst things I've ever read, and I've seen more cartel/beheading videos than I care to admit. It had me fricked up for several days afterwards.
Supposedly they do use the recording to expose new FBI recruits to the brutal realities of the job. I cannot imagine having to listen to that.

I should have been more clear. I only read it, and it messed me up for awhile. People that usually deal with crimes like that and aren't too bothered broke down after listening to it according to a reddit thread I read.

Aye, I know what you mean. I am generally pretty desensitized to the depravity of humanity and thought I had seen/read it all, but that transcript had me totally shook for several days after reading it. I truly knew what the "abyss gazing back into you" meant afterwards.
