Any OTers ever live there or know of anyone who does? Looks like a great, well kept neighborhood in a decent area.

I live here and love it; most in the neighborhood feel the same way. There is a good chance that the people that you buy from are moving to another house in the subdivision.

Wife's parents and my godparents live there. Great neighborhood, IF you can take river road to avoid Brightside everyday.
Agree with the poster above about the deer. I get pissed every year during hunting season because I always seem to see more activity in fricken RB than in the stand.
Also one of the best neighborhoods in town for dumpster diving. My MIL finds all kinda shite, perfectly good toys, outdoor furniture, etc weekly.

Too close to the river. There is a reason Highland Road is names Highland Road.

Lived on Valcour Amie then move to new house in Riverbend Lakes. Great neighborhood and nice family atmosphere. Been gone for about 10 years but still think it's a great place to live in Baton Rouge

With the front porch, that's the one! Any insider info?

Yeah it's my house. Offer list price and it's yours.

I loved living there for 8 years. It was safe, good neighbors and great for going to games at Tiger a Stadium. Unfortunately I had to move to Houston after Katrina but made a fortune selling that house! I know BR wasn't the same after Katrina but it was great before.

The one with the big backyard and swing set?

I grew up in there, and my parents still live there. Loved it. My parents plan on staying in there for some time

It's wonderful. No crime, no unwanted people. Everybody goes to church. No divorced people. None of the wives work. All the kids are friendly. The dogs don't bite or bark. You can pet the deer. Heck, my neighbor even mows my yard for me. It's just a happy place.

My house has a big backyard and swing set, but it's not for sale or on 12 Oaks. I was only messing with OP.
OP . . . I do know the family that lives there. I've never been in the house but from what I know of the owners I'm pretty sure the house was very well maintained. As mentioned in my previous post, they are one of the families that plan to buy another house in the subdivision.

I almost got the white one on don redden, but got outbid. It had some foundation issues that kept me from countering the other offer.
