How do the pirates board these tankers and large ships at sea?

Maybe hit an external fuel tank. Looked like a movie. Pretty badass.

Good on them for having those weapons available on board. That was pretty bad arse.

From my understanding, many of the "ports of convenience" that most of the worlds ships sail under don't allow ships to be armed like this

Why is this not the normal for protecting ships in the water?

Imagine this poor bastard wasn’t a pirate and was just stranded at sea

Looked like an explosive to me, not liquid ignition, but I'm no expert.

Quick, we need to launch a search and rescue operation right away!
On second thought, why don't we just go have some lunch?
Show of hands.......
Lunch it is!

agreed. Dont think gas explosion would've reacted like that. Not enough of a flame for gas, IMO

Gotta love those FN FALs ... but those, the ones they were firing, do not have happy switches.

That's what I thought too...merchant ships cannot be armed under maritime law or some shite. But one way to end piracy is to have these ships start doing just this with regularity.

ETA: I like the celebratory horn honk at the end

I met a guy that did security for ships like this. Its been like 15 years so don't quote me on this. I think they could have weapons in international waters, but when the would come into countries waters where they weren't allowed to be armed they would simply dump the weapons in the ocean.

Not my picture, but like this.

No issue with this at all.

They can wait on their order from TEMU just like the rest of us.
