Like WTF this place used to be a rung above Sam's with the people of Walmart crowd staying away but in the last year or two it's been taken over by lower class poors who somehow afford a membership but have EBT cards.

They’ve always taken ebt - if you are an interstate store that sells groceries - you have to take ebt
That’s why target and Costco in Baton Rouge are just as bad as Walmart and Sam’s
If Buc-ee’s starts to sell loaves of bread & gallons of milk - they will have go take EBT.

They have always accepted it, granted you would think most on those being supported those systems would not purchase the membership fee which is required.

It's bullshite these lazy arse poor people who are deadbeats can get the money for their useless shite but can't get money to buy food with their own money for them and the 5 kids from 5 baby daddies.

SNAP pays for warehouse memberships.

They probably get free/reduced memberships like Amazon with EBT.

Most people on ebt probably don’t shop at Costco since they get $12k a month and aren’t worried about saving money
It’s probably just the illegals buying stuff for their taco trucks using ebt

You mean corporate food supplier well fare?
Its tax payer funded subsidies to all the mega food brands via mega food suppliers
All in the name of "food insecurities"
Im going to stop now so I don't go down the rabbit hole on a Friday afternoon.

Isn't a membership like $60 a year? That's just $5 per month. Not exactly some unaffordable amount like you're making it seem.

I was in there years ago and the woman in line ahead of me paid for a 40 dollar bakery cake with an EBT card. I guess they have always accepted it.

I just signed up for Costco and went there for the first time like 2 weeks ago and I didn't find Costco to be nearly as bad as Sams.

Wrong

Costco accepts payments via Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. But first, you'll need to be a club member. Currently, the least expensive annual membership is $60, but you can pay for a Costco membership using SNAP benefits.
While you may not be able to pay directly using benefits, you can use your EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer) card to purchase a Costco Shop Card, then use the cash card to pay for a membership.

Sam's Club usually has some kind of deal for new members (just use different email address) to get a membership for free or $10-20. I have seen Costco Membership deals for about $20 on the Slickdeals forum.

You can sign up for Sams if you are not a business owner?
