It's because every time I go in there, I stuff my pockets with peanuts. I carry-out at least one pound every visit.

They're computing price elasticity.

If you get the single patty and small fry it’s about 8 bucks if you get a water.

That’s a premium to a fast food burger but I think the burgers and fries are pretty good.

I like 5 guys, but the prices are steep. For two people that is a $34 meal. The one on Highland at the North gates, at times it is busy, but its not consistently busy.. Which makes sense, because college kids are not going to go grab a $17 lunch on a regular basis. So when they put it there, I always thought there were other locations they could open up near that would attract more business.

Five guys is crap. I'd rather just make my own burger.

This is news?

5G has always been overpriced in a similar mold as Shake Shack.

Wife and I eat there for around $20. We only go because she likes their hot dogs(insert penis joke here). We split an order of fries, I get the little bacon cheeseburger, and we get water.

Now if my son is with us, double that. He gets the double cheeseburger, his own order of fries, and a milkshake. Then he's hungry again an hour later.
