Being born with the genetic lottery physically helps too in the case of one's NFL dreams.

Aren't there like 20+ of these videos ever year?

Hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard.
Genetics plays a big part in giving one potential but there's a mindset, an attitude, a work ethic and a makeup that separates the physically gifted from the highest of achievers..
More simply put, there are more people with God given ability NOT being drafted than actually being drafted.

Shadeur Sanders tried to make one of these, but it was a prank caller.

WTF dude? How can you not take some joy from that guy's emotional overload at achieving his life's dream?
I bet you're a real life of the party. Course we'll never know. I can't imagine anyone feeling even enough pity for your Debbie Downer self, to invite you to one...
Besides, I'd be crying like that too if I got a job in Tampa. Even flipping burgers @ McDonalds....
Tampa is home to the country's top, all nude, lap dancing, coochie trail leaving on your shorts, strip club!
The World famous Mons Venus.

I have an aunt and uncle out in Utah who are well on their way to their lifelong goal of smuggling $500M worth of oil into the US.

that shite is so stupid, overplayed, probably fake, and with NIL, kind of pointless

Tell that to Shedeur Sanders.

I'm digging that he's still standing by in his Rolls Royce with no invite to the prom

It really is unbelievable. Couldn't have happened to a better person.

agree, I'm thinking teams are keeping their distance because they don't want to have to tend with the package deal that would accompany him

Yes, and I love every one of them. There's something about seeing a young person on the brink of having their dreams come true. The optimism, the joy, the humility. Adds up to a great feel-good moment for the rest of us.

majority of this is because of winning the genetic lottery at birth, and now days after that it's the entire family sacrificing everything for the kid a la travel ball regime for the kid to get exposure, nobody is "out" working out, practicing, studying film, whatever, to make it to the NFL, no genetics, the lunch pail doesn't matter

frick off. He’s a great kid who suffered a really bad injury that probably knocked him out the first round. Worked his tail off rehabbing. Hate that he’s in Tampa because he will be a stud.
