I googled and came across a couple different options. Some people say that some don’t reply at all. My 7 year old wants to mail a letter to Santa and was wondering if anyone has any experience doing this.

I think my parents put mine in the mailbox…then took it out and tossed it in the trash before the mailman came. I was none the wiser.

Have him write the letter. Put it in an envelope. Address it to:

Santa Claus
North Pole

Put it in the mailbox for USPS pickup and it will go into a big arse bin they don’t return or deliver and the kid will think it got there

You could always have a family member or family friend respond to your kid. Would make it better since they could respond with things only your child would know instead of a generic letter.

I used to be Santa and wrote the letters and everything

Mine are past that magic age now. Man I miss it. I got to help give Christmas magic to a friend who's down on his luck and his 5 yo last Christmas. I try to make it special every year for someone.

I mean what are you looking for?

I know right, and who do we hire to eat the cookies and milk? Life is so confusing

That’s a good idea. Thanks!

What exactly is the question? You write a letter to Santa. Then mom or dad takes it and writes a response.

I thought they had people who actually read those?

You can also send it to Canada. The ZIP code is H0 H0 H0.

Look dickhead, I was thinking about some cool place that sends back a letter with candy canes on it or some shite..

And I ALWAYS crush the milk and cookies.

And just to clarify...by saying respond with things only your kid knows it's like saying how well they behave in a teachers class or helping you out with certain chores.

Address to the North Pole, duh. The mail lady always leaves notes and a candy cane for my kids.

I know there are places that will do personalized Christmas stories including your kid's name. But honestly that's probably all chatGPT these days

Do you read to him? Is that the sort of thing he might like?

ETA: sorry I'm assuming it's a boy.

There’s actual addresses you can send letters to. They do some little cute response and make it look all like Christmas and stuff. I’ve heard about it before but haven’t done it.
Looks like I’ll probably just take the old school approach. But I was also trying to use it as a teaching lesson.. I was telling my kid that we need to put an address on it and put a stamp on it.

Mail it to AntiqueTiger and he can ship back a bunch of unsold junk.

Your kid can have a old wrestling shoe, a faded copy of "Frampton Comes Alive", and some non working Christmas lights from the 70s

We just mailed them to the North Pole. The tricky part was hiring a guy in a Santa suit to break into the house and set up the Christmas gifts on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Town, North Pole
