Back in the day some of them actually looked like their photos..

Wendy's looked good at one time.

McDonalds might be the closest to the product we end up with, even if the food is shite or Chick-Fil-A

The most egregious culprits of false advertising are Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and Subway

Chick-fil-A, canes, Popeyes.

Fried chicken is easy to make look halfway like the pictures

Canes, minus the size of the tenders and the fries being soggy

I'd go with fried chicken.

Arby's actually looks good in commercials. Whoever their photographer is, is genius.

When I was a kid we went in some fast food place on vacation. They were doing a photo shoot of one their sandwiches and they let us watch. Suffice to say you wouldn't want to eat it after they got through making it look pretty.

I prefer smaller fast food places that don’t advertise a lot.

The chicken in that bottom picture looks disgusting.

Schlotzskys come very near their ads. Very good food overall.

You’ve clearly yet to be blessed by Southern Classic chicken lol you’d never eat Popeye’s again if there was one near you

In-n-out burger is pretty spot on even though the fries are very much below average. Burger is pretty good but overall it’s very mediocre fast food

I wouldn’t eat anything that looked like the commercials because I worked one once and they make that shite inedible with glue and hairspray and all kinds of shite to make it look the way it does.

the mayo was really glue
onions are plastic
the "meat" was sprayed with deodorant

Stopped at a Wendy’s in I don’t know where on the way back from Destin that made a truly delicious masterpiece Dave’s double. Well played Wendy’s somewhere between Louisiana and Destin, I hope to accidentally find you again one day. My local Wendy’s, before I banished them from my life, was most likely dipping everything in an ice bath and volley ball spiking it into the bag
