Although, you might could argue some overlap, coonass should really be distinguished from white trash.

Eh, I'm originally from Houma. There's no distinguishing characteristic between them there.

I was wondering how many people here actually know somebody with a name that begins with T-___. So it's a coonass thing?

General rule do not name your son any name that was a character in "The Outsiders".

I grew up in New Iberia....I knew at least 10 T-somethings...I actually knew two guys named T-Boy...can't say I miss The Berry....
