Yes, the mother can be 12 weeks along and you can get an accurate result. The mother's blood has the fetus' DNA in it, and can be compared to the father's blood sample. "Non-invasive paternity test" is I think what it's called.

Absolutely. But if it were you, and you were allowed to go, wouldn't you? And also, if you weren't sure it was yours and could find out, wouldn't you want to?

Interesting. You go science. Still, she would have to consent, and if she's wanting everybody to believe it's him, why would she?

Absolutely, but at no risk to the fetus. If you're saying this procedure has been perfected, I'll buy that. But I don't really see the rush. Hell, the kid could come out black, and all this testing would be moot.
