With WGN, this was a staple for me, I think it was Sundays…early 90’s

It was on WGN every week day in the 80s.

About the biggest surprise is learning that Bozo was a franchise and that the Chicago/WGN version wasn’t even the first version.
(Im sure the board’s Atlanta, Georgia, and Miami natives can attest to their own regional Bozos.)

Bucket 6 was always a crisp $50 bill and a brand new bike! Now we have transgendered super heroes that kids can watch after school. It was just a better time to be a kid.

The only clown that ever mattered to me, he was at my 4th or 5th birthday party

Oh hell yeah! Watched this show at my Paw Paw’s house as a little kid. We loved that show.

Yep. And I’ll always hate the Cubs for bumping it on the regular during BB season. Oh to be a kid in BR again. The 80s were the shite

David Arquette was on Joe Rogan and said he bought the rights to Bozo and is bringing him back.

Just watched a few grand prize games on YouTube and my 11 yo son was like, “you actually watched this?” I thought, “your fuggin’ right I did…and was glad to do so”. Creepy AF….wtf was I thinking supporting these clowns?

I hope they moth balled his old arse when they put him in the closet. If not, that's gonna be a mess.

Is that the game where they tossed the ping pong ball in the buckets?
I was sure I would dominate that when I was a kid.

Dude was really handsy with the kids. Is he a sex offender or something? Wouldn’t be surprised…

It was a sad day when the national WGN feed turned into a run of the mill cable channel. They held out longer than TBS as a true “superstation.”
It was a weird time when the nation followed local Atlanta and Chicago news.

Ted had TBS. Who owned WGN during that time?
