Who would win in a fight – grizzly bear or gorilla (poth in their prime)?

Gorillas are retarded strong, but grizzly bears have deadlier paws and teeth. At some point during the fight the gorilla definitely would stun the grizzly bear with its retard strength and probably land some licks, but I think that the gorilla eventually would get bludgeoned to death by the grizzly bear.
One way or the other, out of all of the hypothetical animal MMA matches, this is probably the one that I'd most likely buy the pay-per-view for. It would be super interesting.
-------------------------------
--------------------------------
This is one of those legendary hypothetical battles that people love to debate! But if we break it down scientifically, the grizzly bear would most likely come out on top.
Why the Grizzly Wins
Size & Weight – A full-grown grizzly (Ursus arctos horribilis) can weigh between 600 to 1,200 lbs, while a silverback gorilla (Gorilla beringei) usually tops out at 400 to 500 lbs. That’s a big difference in raw mass.
Claws & Bite Force – Grizzlies have 4-inch claws and a bite force of 975 PSI, which can crush bones. A gorilla’s bite force is around 1,300 PSI, but it lacks the same predatory weaponry.
Durability & Stamina – Grizzlies are built for battle, capable of taking down moose and brawling with other bears. They have thick fur, a heavy layer of fat, and tough skin, giving them more natural armor than the relatively thin-skinned gorilla.
Killer Instinct – While gorillas are immensely strong, they’re more defensive and social creatures. A grizzly, especially one at its peak and sexually active (read: full of testosterone and aggression), is a predator that knows how to kill.
Why the Gorilla Might Have a Shot
Strength – Gorillas are pound-for-pound stronger than bears, with estimates saying they can lift around 1,800 lbs. If it could get a good grip on the bear’s throat or head, it could do some damage.
Intelligence – Gorillas are much smarter and could theoretically try to outmaneuver the bear, but in a raw, brutal fight, intelligence may not matter much.
Final Verdict
The gorilla is a beast, but the grizzly is a bigger, meaner, more heavily armed beast that’s evolved to handle serious fights. Unless the gorilla got extremely lucky, the bear would maul it to death.
But man, what a fight that would be.

Crazy that a grizzly weight 2-3x more than a gorilla. Those things are huge

a gorilla would frick up a bear. no debate.

Na. It would be an interesting battle for a few minutes, but a brown bear would ultimately destroy a gorilla.
With all of the AI advances, I wonder if they could do a highly accurate simulated fight between the two?

Griz. Weighs more and they are an agile animal especially for it's size. When you watch two big arse Griz fighting each other it's kinda terrifying. Gorilla will make it interesting, but when that bear grabs that monkey, it's over.

Wasn't aware that this had already been discussed at length around here.
Would you prefer for me to post links to random news articles using clickbait headlines and copy/paste excerpts of the article, the kind that of threads that have inundated this board and made this board way less irreverant and way more predictable and shitty...

Ive said this a few times - nothing on land today can frick with a grizzly bear.
Except animals weighing 10x as much or M1 Abrams tanks.
Point being, none of you idiots understand how bad arse a full grown grizzly bear is.

Only advantage gorilla has is intelligence, and it isn't that wide of a gap. Grizz takes this no difficulty.

Knuckles vs claws isn't really a fair fight.

If a pit bull grabbed either one by the testacles there would be an immediate tap out, no monkeying around.
