I dropped Sirius, got tired of the opinions of the DJs . Easy to listen to Pandora or Spotify in my truck and it’s free!

All their yapping and some going woke/coronabro is the reason I quit paying them.

Matt Pinfield was good with actual interesting information & stories to share. Wish he was still on there.

All the other radio DJ's I've heard on XM just talk for the sake of hearing themselves talk.

Sluggo Doug, Madison, & Grant Random are among the worst.

The woman on Prime Country is a NPR breathy voice dummy. The woman on the Beatles channel too. They almost sound like the same person.

Any pics of Rachel Steele, Dusty Street, or Kat Boyd on Classic Vinyl?
Asking for a friend.

ETA: Never mind, I’ve seen them.

Ch 23 The Grateful Dead channel has no DJ’s or commercials. Non-stop live songs and some studio versions. Not everyone is into their music as they have the most diverse catalog of any band in history. Every show since 1965 has been recorded live either through the soundboard or via tapers.

While other bands frowned on “bootlegs” and threatened to arrest people recording shows, the GD encouraged it. Live recordings of concerts are how deadheads were able to share the music. 2300+ plus shows and no 2 set lists are the exact same.
Man I miss $13.00 concerts and $3 cold beverages.

So do I. I listened every morning on the way to work. I know the show is on another streaming platform but I’m not paying money when I hardly ever listened to the entire length of the show.

I still hear Covino on Turbo and Rich is still doing the Pop2k countdown every weekend.

No OT love for Rachel Steele? She seems like a cool chick and she's at least an OT 6.

Got 6 free months in my new Tacoma.
Been enjoying the Garth Channel b/c it’s great music from all genres, though also occasionally his own. Also Prime Country, Hair Nation for the indulgence and the comedy stations other than the shitty Netflix one.
Anyone know if I can hear live sports on any of the sports channels?
Downloaded a guide, but first go round w/ S/XM and it’s surprisingly overwhelming while very enjoyable
