Perfect example of an abhorrent scoundrel sent to contaminate our leisure time.

Odd complaining about a place that had TOO MUCH parking.
You really only hear the opposite when someone complains about parking spots.

It used to be full every night in BR back when I lived in Baton Rouge 06-08. I can distinctly remember it being sold out for the The Dark Knight.
I also remember when Citiplace wasn't a cesspool. I don't even know if it's still a theater.
The O'Neal Lane Hollywoo Theater used to be the hidden gem. $5 movie, no crowd. No thugs.
ETA: Maybe it wasn't on O'Neal lane. It's been forever. Last movie I saw there was Pounds with will smith.

I lived off of Millerville in college and was at the Rave many, many times. While it would get maybe 50-60% full on a big opening, I never saw it completely full. But I wasn't there every weekend, so maybe it did fill up. We always figured it was because of code that a certain number of parking spots would need to be available and the long, thin parking lot was the only way to do it. Looked ridiculous then, and now that it is not being kept up, it looks even more trashy.

The RAVE was a big fricking deal when it opened up. People lost their minds over it. The BR theaters at the time were crap. Some without stadium seating still. Ones with stadium seating had crappy projection and screens.

Last date I went on was June before Katrina to that movie theater.

I'm with you OP
I've been going there since it opened and I don't ever remember it being close to full.
I'm not saying I'm certain of it, but I have no recollection of it.
