Why is Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean obscured on Google Earth....

No idea. You can see it on Apple Maps, I was there in October and there really isn’t much to see.

I know.

That’s my question.

Basically all of Diego Garcia is a military installation that the West uses to strike the ME and SE Asia for operations but why is it obscured when even our operational bases in Afghanistan are not?

My guess is that either the US deems it of a high strategic value and active.

Or the U.K., which has very different laws than us about sharing public info requested it.

True story. When I first moved out here I was looking for a decent place to go camping and there aren’t a lot of lakes. On google maps I found Groom Lake and was like ‘Oh cool I’ll go check that place out and see if it’s a good spot.’

It was not a good spot.

I have looked at before just to see if that was the furthest I had been from my hometown. FWIW, there wasn't shite there back in the day.

It wasn't an accident that the Google Maps screwed for people going to the Denver Airport. Obvious the Illuminati was doing a test run.
