Why is the discovery channel in Spanish on my tv.

All the commercials are in English. It's the regular discovery channel not destination America or investigate or any other channel. I tried resetting my tv and that hasn't worked. The tv in the living room plays the same channel in English. It's cable, not satellite. I'm not sure what's wrong.

It's a setting on your cable box. Change it from "essay" to "not essay"

Mine does the same thing on AMC and only occasionally. Like in the middle of the Breaking Bad marathon.

Glad this hasn't happened to just me. And that same tv there are 2 channels that are mute no matter what

Check the SAP setting on your tv and cable box. One of them has it turned on.
Every once in a while a provider (Discovery Channel in this case) will lose their primary audio feed.
If the first case fixes it, yay. If it doesn't, call your cable provider and demand a month free service for your experience. Make sure you threaten to switch providers and all that.

I have 2 that are mute too. Is this a Samsung piece of shite? I have two of them. One does it, one doesn't.
