Why is Costco worried about people sharing cards, you gonna spend 300-500 in the place anyway

There aren’t that many big towns besides Pensacola. Plus people don’t want bulk on vacation.

Please don't. The membership at least keeps SOME of the trash out.

Memberships are pure profit. That's how they make a ton of their annual revenue and the margins are huge.

When I was a kid in PCB in the 90s The Carousel was the only grocery store in town.

The year round demand doesn’t warrant it. October through March would be dead.

What is the hoopla with Costco? Live about 4 blocks away from one and never been inside

Costco breaks even on their goods. They get money through the membership and food court. I love they are checking. Why should I pay while others don’t. And it makes it a better experience for me

Because you people are sharing your membership cards with others, and they are pissed off about it.

A member can buy COSTCO gift cards in the store and whoever ends up using them does not have to be a member to shop in the warehouse.

I don’t think you need to be a member to use the pharmacy or the food court and I believe the COSTCO online shopping isn’t as restrictive, either.

. That’s not accurate. I had to get a Costco membership to buy a pressure washer online. We prefer Costco over Sam’s, but it isn’t in a convenient location for us. So we let it go.

It's Bucees without gas pumps.

Our local Sams and Costco are about 3 miles from each other, but we go to sams 75% of the time. On matching items, they are typically cheaper, and they have better overall sales.

Because they don't deserve one. Same reason there is no Buckees in South Louisiana.

I get gas at COSTCO more often than I step foot in the warehouse.

There may not be that much trash there, but that doesn’t mean it’s not incredibly infuriating to shop there.
