I seem to see these beast going down the road all the time, but I'm just not sure what kind of jobs they are used for. Pipeline? Pond cleaning? Ditches? Seems like they would be locked in for marsh work, but I seem to see them North of Alexandria quite often.

Yes to all plus clearing. You can't build a pipeline in South LA without marsh hoes.

No pun intended.

I hear that they're impossible to find in Germany.

If you do find one, you should leave them how you found them.

Definitely don't want to be operating one of those on Handshake Drugs you bought downtown.

Those marsh buggies are used all over the world. I’ve talked with the owners quite a few times a long time ago. They were two of the nicest guys I’ve met with to talk business.

Have seen them in LA marshes constructing shallow-water berms or terraces.

Energy firm I work for used them when we drained 750 ac lake that had 5' of the worst sucking mud in the bottom. They were the only thing that would move until roads were built in the reservoir

I sell to these companies. They do dredging, road cutting, pipeline, wetlands, rivers, ponds, lakes, you name it. They come in various sizes, very versatile and they float. Wilco, Frogo, Marshbuggies Inc, Wetland Equipment are just a few that manufacture in Louisiana.
