Yeah different person. The people I'm thinking of are definitely not trashy at all.
My SIL is trashy as hell too. We have that in common. She's been married and divorced 7 times. I give my wife shite about it sometimes too

My nephew's names are Brayden and Brentsyn both.
Both will be plowing fields before too long with those bad baw white trash looks. The black ladies love them both im told and worries my sister to no end.

The most popular boy names in 2018:
Liam, Noah, William, James, Oliver, Benjamin, Elijah, Lucas, Mason, Logan, Alexander, Ethan, Jacob, Michael, Daniel, Henry, Jackson, Sebastian, Aiden, Matthew
Will be 18 and hired by 45 year olds born in 1991:
Michael, Christopher, Matthew, Joshua, Andrew, Daniel, James, David, Joseph, John, Ryan, Nicholas, Robert, Justin, Brandon, Tyler, Jacob, Anthony, William, Jonathan
The difference is that the top 20 names in 1991 represented over 2 in every 7 male births (28% of births). In 2018 those top twenty names represent about 2 in every 15 births (13%).
Most folks still use "normal" names, but names aren't nearly as concentrated at the top.

My aunt in-law named her kids Bronx and Brooklyn. When they were tossing around baby names I told her not to name the second kid Brooklyn bc they are the exact same thing. Your first kid is now the nickname to your second kid.
What are you talking about? Bronx and Brooklyn are totally different parts of the city.

Just saw a meth head acquaintance named their son Kyson
Where do they even find these shitty names?

Be the modern day equivalent to the old trashy redneck names like Bubba & Earl. Will we they carry the same back woods stigma?
The funny thing is those stupid names are coming from middle class to upper middle class folk. Usually ones whose parents are blue collar workers that make decent money

Saw a van in Orange Beach with kids playing in one of the six World Series going on with a Colson, Drayton, Braddock, Huck, and Gram (like the unit of mass, not the cracker). Saw another with Jhett (which I’m assuming is pronounced JET).
Come on people.
Come on people.

I typically enjoy the trashy name threads, but seeing shite like Brentsyn, Kyson and Jhett borders on child abuse.
I'll also note that Kyson autocorrected to "my son" when I typed it out, so that might explain the inspiration for that one.
