He said in post-game (lol) to tune in tomorrow to see him 'ruin wrestling' .

I hope he kayfabe retires with the belt to turn heelness to 11 before the next chapter of whatever they're doing to at least make tanking a WM worth it.

I don't think anyone ever expected him to win it and retire on the spot

I think the idea in Kayfabe is he was saying he was going to win it and hold it until his preset retirement date of 12/31/2025 then retire with belt

The even bigger disappointment to me tonight was the wasted glass shatter, using stone cold as a glorified cheerleader.

That shite just sucked the wind out of my sails knowing that was all we were gonna get out of the rattlesnake prior to the main event. I'm still holding out hope that he somehow makes his way into this rock storyline.

Also it's a huge problem Dwayne is on the TKO boards and just can come and go when he chooses he wanted this he should stick it out or not do it at all

As I said before. The ripple rings on the outside of her outfit was certainly a choice.

Especially after he declined last year and Taker was subbed in. At least he got paid. They lured him to Vegas by putting his match in the hall.

“Super Cody” had to carry this whole thing. That’s why I figured the Heyman - Seth thing would figure into this, so they could carry something on a weekly basis.

This was my thinking too. It didn’t even have to be an actual faction like the NWO, but rather show that Seth and Heyman were willing to play ball to gain favor with the Rock and Cena. Seth has plenty of reasons to have a bone to pick with Cody since WM40, but it didn’t even have to be that deep. He’s now an opportunistic evil heel, managed by THE opportunistic heel manager always looking for a gravy train.

Those two could carry this thing into the summer when Cena isn’t around while still keeping the final boss as the looming threat that could pop up anytime. Hell, Seth and Heyman aligning with Rock the night after royally screwing Roman wouldve be a great way to plant the seed for Roman vs Rock at WM42, if that’s even still on the table. Maybe the whole ula fala thing at the Netflix debut was Rock’s way of squashing it. Who the frick knows anymore.

This was just a weird way to tell the story of washed up, desperate Cena vs the guy who just beat the most dominant champ since Hogan. And considering Cody has become Rock’s obsession and the bane of his existence in kayfabe, you’d think he would clear his schedule for the big dethroning of Rhodes instead of trusting a 120 pound rapper with the task

You need to calm down, baw.

We all agree it was a shitty finish but you're acting like WWE is about to go back into the dark ages of the 2010's.

This is the main issue. If he did everything Scott did this isn’t an issue at all.

Should’ve just replaced the ref with his own then it’s a really effective.

10 mins and the dude can’t even do that.

Yeah I love the Rock but this was a fricking terrible look. All he had to do was show up for 10 minutes and the ending looks completely different. The roof would’ve come off that place if Rock’s music hit after Cody took out Travis Scott

So admittedly I have not been able to watch all of the shows full-time for a bit....

The problem IMO with the main event was you had two 'storytellers' and neither are overly strong wrestlers. Plus Cena is older so he can't really go like he used to which is understandable. I don't understand the Rock/Travis Scott thing. The Rock wanting "HIS" champion is fine but had no idea why Scott was involved.

This match probably could have used a 3rd wrestler to carry it.

I also think if they had swapped things around this would have been a better use of the Paul Heyman, Rollins, Reigns and Punk saga. Heyman could have swayed Rollins to become the 'corporate champ' again and with Heyman guiding him his success and legacy would be unlimited.

While none of us really know what they have planned for the rest of the story I am curious if Cena drops the title at Summerslam.

Think with how this went it’s more likely cena isn’t even on raw tonight.

He said he was going to “ruin wrestling for everyone”

How could be possibly piss people off more than to no show raw
