YETI vs. RTIC vs. IGLOO coolers. Which one is truly the best?

I was thinking about purchasing my first YETI cooler until I read user reviews about the RTIC (ie. Artic) cooler. Supposedly the RTIC cooler is better than the YETI cooler at half the cost of the YETI cooler.
I know the YETI cooler is more a status symbol than anything else, but I've seen people swear by the YETI cooler.
Has anyone ever owned an Igloo, RTIC, and YETI cooler, and if so, which one is truly holds temperature the best?

I have a Brute Box, 1/2 the price of a Yeti and works just as well.

Well YETI's turn you into a douche. So anything else.
They are all pretty much the same when it comes to the heavier duty coolers. LINK
Apparently in this article. The Coleman beat out the Yeti in ice retention. K2 looks like the best heavy duty cooler.

Honestly, about everyone I've met who owns a YETI seems like a douche. Don't get me wrong...they truly love their YETI and enthusiastically vouch for YETI products. So, perhaps I should give YETI owners credit for at least being enthusiastic douchebags.

Fair enough. I had Oakleys when I was younger so I am not immune from being douchey apparently

They sell Pelicans at Costco. That's the route I would go. Great return policy and price.

i don't care about quality, YETI gives me a free sticker so they get my business
Posted on 9/18/15 at 10:22 am to mizzoukills
Do the RTICs or IGLOOs come with a bumper sticker I can throw on my truck?

Just buy the RTIC and put a YETI sticker on it.
Then you can be a douche bag at half the price

Has RTIC settled the lawsuit YETI put on them for copying their design yet?

According to the RTIC website, had they copied YETI's design then their 65 qt ice chest would have been 56 qt just like YETI.
Also RTIC has an easy lift lid handle... you ain't gonna find that on no YETI!

Paying hundreds of dollars for a cooler makes ZERO sense for the average weekend warrior. Admit it.

If you're a fan of the RTIC's, you better get them while you can. From the horse's mouth.
ETA:
Like I said, better get the RTIC's while you can. They won't last long if you know what I mean.
ETA #2: I won a 75 (or is it 120 or so? I forget)Purple & Gold YETI from Stine's in Walker, Louisiana. They were $499 regularly. But the main times I utilize a cooler are:
1.) Tailgating
2.) Mardi Gras
3.) Beach Trip
In all of these situations, I have smaller, more mobile choices that are way more pragmatic. The YETI is for someone at an RV Tailgate or whose having a party or cookout in the backyard. It's just overkill for most of my use cases.
Having said that, they don't make the color runs anymore for YETI's (too expensive allegedly) for regular retail sale (can still special order for even more dinero). So the original $499 price tag on mine has been eclipsed by several people who've come to the house, seen it and offered me more for it.
As it stands, it's sat in my garage for the last 18 months unused and in pristine condition.

I'm sure the RTIC is great. You just can't get one.
