Stood right next to George Clooney whike Iworked at Angola in the 90’s. Dude is probably only 5’5”. I couldn’t believe how small a dude he is in real life.
I was at Bachuus back in the early 90’s on St Charles. I was standing behind a barricade. Dude taps me in the shoulder and said he needed to cross the street. I turned my head slightly and said they aren’t going to let you cross. He said they will just move. Got a little pissed and turned around and it was Harry Connick Jr and his smoke show wife. Cops let him through.

I met John Goodman at a coffee shop on Metairie road. I was little and had just played Babe Ruth in a movie.. signed a baseball for me.
Met Anthony Makie in New Orleans.. he was chill..
Met the guy that played "E" in Entourage while he was filming secretariat. He owes me a picture of him wearing a saints hat because he bet me his dolphins would be better that year... it was 2009.

I knew Faith Ford in high school. We went to different schools but I would see her at speech tournaments and talked to her. She was nice but I never got anywhere with her.
I have a cousin who was friends with her in high school. She was home visiting and my cousin had her call me to just say hello. This was in the mid 90s when she was on Murphy Brown. I was around 15 at the time. She was as nice as could be and I could not even complete a sentence because I was so nervous.

When I was a kid I went to the Arkansas state fair in Little Rock and saw the Cartwrights from the Bonanza tv show. Ben, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe. There was a tall chain link fence the were behind and they rode up on their horses. Pretty cool.

Happy birthday, Mr. Hooter Man. I hope this is a great year for you and that your recovery progresses positively.
Eta: It's not his birthday.

I ran into Big Ed at a bar in the Houston airport last weekend. He was loving all the attention people were giving him. By the looks of the guy I can’t believe he made it through Covid…

Ron Simmons is the man.
I once held the door for Kurt Angle while he was getting coffee. I swear to God he then said "Thank you."

Sports Illustrated Brooks Nader was my prom date one year in high school. She got famous since then.

Jean Claude Van Damme was in the pew in front of me at Mass once. His bodyguard turned around to offer peace, but Jean Claude didn’t.

I ran into Bobby Bowden in the locker room at Cumberland Lake Country Club in the early 2000s. I walked in, turned the corner to go to my locker, and there he was… completely naked. He’d just got out of the shower. One of the more awkward moments of my life.

I couldn’t watch an FSU game for a long time.

Met Karl Malone a few times when he owned the Huddle House here in town.
Interviewed Bobby Hebert when he was visiting Northwestern State after winning the USFL title. (He was not drinking).
Country singer Linda Davis. Invited us to fly to Nashville after her show. Her road manager was not thrilled.

I went to high school with her. She is a few years older but dated one of my friends. She mentioned him by name. We hazed him pretty good after that.
