weirdest one. i wouldn't say i met them but we were at the supermodel cafe or whatever it was that elle mcpherson, kate moss and i think naomi campbell owned at mardi gras 94 i think. our waiter tipped us off, said you see those two? that's elle mcpherson and sean penn. so my girlfriend and i ran over to say hi and get a pic. out of nowhere a giant of a man picked me up, put me gently flat on the ground and said those two were not taking visitors. i thanked him for his time and went back to the table

Charles Barkley. I worked at Prairie Fire Grill in Hoover, Al in my teens. He was hilarious. We all got drunk at the bar after hours and he promised to pay my tuition if I switched from LSU to Auburn. (I was a HS senior with a full ride to LSU). Turned down the offer, but he was a blast to drink with.

Joe Federspiel and Willie Roaf of the New Orleans Saints were regulars in my dad’s bookstore.
I worked a traffic accident in Dalllas involving Renee Zellweiger (sp?)
Ran in to Tommy Lee Jones in Mayer the Hatter in New Orleans. Always liked TLJ, gotta admit he was kind of a dick.
Phil Anselmo (lead singer for Pantera) went to my high school.

Damn near everybody on No Limit Records including Master P 1997-1999
Snoop Dogg 1998 - came into the place I worked and bought every color of Chuck Taylor shoes we had.
Vanilla Ice 2001- Caterie show he was performing new music then.
Met the below people in Biloxi they were in town for a Brett Farve Golf Tournament in 2005.

Tons of celebrities in town that weekend, I saw lots of them but didn’t meet those.
The late Derrick Thomas (Chiefs LB) They were in town to play the Saints in 1994 I believe. Stayed in the same Hotel.
I’m sure there are more, but I’m getting old and can’t remember as well as I used to.

I used to travel a lot for work and have seen numerous celebrities. Best occasion after theater at Joe Allen’s in New York. The table next to me had Al Pacino, Diane Wiese, Harvey Keitel, Bianca Jaggar, Robert Duvall, and Edward Norton. 4 Oscar winners. I didn’t speak to them they were having dinner. Once got asked to leave a restaurant in Nashville when one of my party talked to the Dixie Chicks while they were eating.

Saban when he and the fam were leaving the LSU Athletic building after '03 for the championship celebration. Tommy Lasorda at a bar in Greenville, SC. And that useless bitch that was Sandra Day O'Connor at DAL after she retired.

my buddy john ran into arnold schwarzenegger at squaw valley. john was bumping chairs and here comes the terminator. he says "wheech vay to ze freshest groooomahs?" john said he totally froze. arnie gave him a scowl of contempt as his chair departed. a few seconds later the thought of all the things he wanted to say...get in ze choppah! i'll be back! it's not a tooomah!

I met Jerry springer at ditkas in Chicago. He had his own private booth. I went up and introduced myself and talked with him about some family members who had been on his program.
Met Mika Kunis in the admirals club in Dallas once. Shot my shot. She is still there, I’m still here.
Met Bert Kreisher on a train in Russia. Did a little coke with him. The rest of the trip was a bummer.
