What a fricking idiot. The lioness saved his life. Bet he had to change his underwear after that. Never, ever stare at a wild animal.

Video is inside the link. Right at the top.

That lion was just playing. If his intentions were to maul the trainer, he'd be dead.

Great job by that lioness, you’re right she jumped right in there and kept him at bay.

Nah that's okay, he's an alpha, the male lion will instantly detect the fear pheromone and will not dare to approach him. The next step at this point is to turn his back and start running. That way, the lion will receive the signal that you're not a threat and will start acting more relaxed.

-Andrew Tate, probably.

You can take the cat out of Africa but you can’t take the Africa out of the cat.

It isnt really a cage. It's an indoor viewing habitat inside iirc

Eh.

I think he gave him a subtle warning.

He'd of been dead if he really wanted him dead.

So you saying she knew what was going on? A cat protected a human? Doubtful.

I think she was more telling her buddy that the zookeeper wasn't a threat and to back off.

Lions in the wild are so beautiful and so terrifying

I was fortunate to spend some time walking with them in the Zimbabwean bush at a lion rehabilitation center where they’re raised up as babies and eventually let loose into the wild

They gave us these little bamboo sticks and that was it. As these 2 year old grown lions are walking next to us like your Lab or golden retriever would be out on a walk in the park.

They tell you to not get eye level with them… that they won’t view you as prey until you meet them at that level..

One of the lions was walking next to me and I am so damn nervous… a friend of mine was at the front of the group… happened to stumble and fall and turns and opened himself up and that lion instinctively ran about 20 yards or so in a blink of an eye and jumped and pounced and right as he got to my friend.. one of the guides lit this lion up with a stick and the lion just sat down. Like nothing happened

Shite could’ve gone so badly so very quickly

No. If that male goes off, the female ain't intervening. He would have shredded the guy and killed him. The lioness would have sat idly by and watched. She protected nothing.
