I just watched a few minutes of a girl have a spaz on the stage.
Well at least its a time-machine, apparently Break dancing hasn't evolved since 1984 and the Electric Boogaloo.
Windmills, helicopters, writhing on the ground.....wiggling on the ground. This would get booed off AGT.
I thought I waz gonna see a bunch of Chinese acrobats.

Just because a line forms around the stadium doesn't mean it should be an Olympic sport. This is horrible and yet another event for judges' anti-US bias to gift medals to Asia.

yeah, seems like China and Japan start with points right off the bat just for showing up, much like diving... it's as if b/c they are expected to do well, that even moderate/mid performances still get higher scores than better performances by outliers
as far as teh female breakdancing, you can already see it's gonna be Japan vs. China for gold... seems like the judges already have that in mind, regardless of what everyone else does...

kinda... i'm not saying we don't get a little benefit from judges due to our pedigree... far from it... i'm just saying that there is a bit of bias based on assumed or perceived ability based on stereotype that favors the Chinese and Japanese in a competition like this... not to say they aren't good, but they get a little bit of a bump simply being Asian, as Asians are known to be good breakdancers and stuff...
