$8 corks are all the rage now.

I've been using these corks since last duck season when I got some and they are the only cork I use. Someone earlier mentioned that "a cork is just a cork." Red fishing with these corks is not even comparable. A plastic, dead shrimp, or even live bait on a jighead 6 inches under the cork up against a cloudy to dirty water bank is an unreal combination for redfish. It works for me even when a north wind is blowing 30 mph and muddying up everything. Most people won't even fish these conditions but we are still catching limits of reds in dularge on this combo. The pop sounds exactly like a shrimp popping. It's totally different than any other cork or imitator. A DOA under this is what we caught all our trout on this spring. Where they really separate themselves is fishing with plastics. I've had multiple friends start off throwing their regular corks and have to switch over to the Four Horseman because I'm wearing them out. Don't take my word for it, muscle up those $7 and find out if "a cork is just a cork." Let me know

I've used them as Aaron is a friend and I bought a few from him. I like the sound as it sounds a lot like a She Dog--more of a high pitched sound. I'm simply not a cork fisherman, but the quality is there.

I use Boat Monkey corks. I had seem them in stores but never purchased because they are more expensive than H&H. After reading some reports from Shore Thing Charters, Boat Monkey is all they use. I gave them a try and haven't used anything else since.
