Just left Academy in Bossier. They've got Game Winner 3.5mm waders on sale for $100. I've got a pair and they're just as good as any of the other waders I've worn (pretty much all the other brands over the years).

Its the breathable ones like the half and half style?
ETA: I see on website now. Damnit trying to decide if the half and half breathable style is worth another $60 now....

I've got both. Breathables are awesome too. If I have a long walk or I'm not standing in nut deep water I go with the breathables

I bought a pair of the hybrids last year and have been happy with them. Hunting N AR timber early this week, so I'll see how they hold up

I've got th cheaper Game winners that I bought 3 yrs ago. They're still holding up just as good or better than the $300 waders. Game winner for the most part is all that I buy now a days. Very good product for the price.

Just picked up a pair. Great looking waders. A little tight in the knee area but I will make do.
Thanks for the heads up. I am about to send my 1 year old Lacrosse Swamp Tuff back due to dryrotted/cracked boots.

Keep the box and receipt. Academy has the best return policy of any of the big retailers these days, especially on their house brand stuff.

Got some of the ones a step below for Christmas and took them out for my first hunt in them today, really happy with the purchase so far. Academy is the best all around for value and quality for hunting, IMHO.

Bought these because of the pockets. Didn't look at them real good and I almost ruined my phone. Pockets have holes at the bottom, so the waders don't have quick an easy place to put my phone. The pair on sale looks like it has a good sized pocket top center. Might be returning or buying another set.

are the suspenders Velcro or buckles?
I hate the Velcro straps

On the breathables they're buckles, but different than most. The straps have a round piece that slides into a groove on the receiving end that's attached to the front of the wader. Works good.
The hybrids and regular neoprene has Velcro
