Thinking about picking up a pair of these or something similar for working around the camp or rainy day boat trips.

To anybody that has them, are they comfy? Do you wear them with socks? Worth the money? Don’t mind spending the money if they are comfortable to wear all day.

They are comfy. They should be worn with socks but sometimes go barefoot if it's just around the yard. Yes they are worth the money.

I have a pair of Grundens I bought and a pair of Xtratufs I was given as a present. I prefer the Grundens and you can catch them on sale for a few dollars off.

Have xtratufs and they are worth it. Really comfortable to walk in. Feel more like shoes than typical rain boots. Socks if I’m going to be in then for awhile.

100% I have two pair, one for the boat and one for working around the house. They have held up well for 3 years.

These things come in half sizes for those of us with strange feet?

I have a pair of dryshod uninsulated ankle boots and wear them just about everyday during the winter. I like them and have held up better than a pair of LaCrosse ankle boots I had before.

Comfortable as hell. Perfect camp shoe - easy to slip on/off and just high enough for mud around the camp. Great for fishing as well, of course.

I wore them without socks one night bowfishing and I've still got scars on my ankles from where it rubbed all night. Wear socks...

Get a pair of these and upgrade the insoles. They are well made and you wont be able to keep the women off you either if you wear them with shorts.

This is my problem with rubber boots, if I want to wear them around the camp is usually don’t have socks high enough and they rub my calves all day.

Have always had a pair of these around. I like the Redhead BPS brand. Socks are a must for me most times

I almost bought those same shoes, but I read online that the quality on them has dropped over the years. I ended up getting these LaCrosse Ankle Boots instead. They are 20 dollars more but I heard good stuff

For those that have these, do they tear easily? I'm thinking about getting a pair for turkey hunting, but if they are going to tear on briars that's no bueno.

Those are good. Grundens and Xtratuf dont have black soles which is a plus on any fiberglass boat. Likely the tread is better for slick surfaces vs. the Lacrosse which is made for the woods.

Yeah I figured I'd use them more out in the woods but they each serve a purpose.

I have the XtraTuf, and I love em. Got them last Christmas and I wear them constantly. My wife found these brown leatherish ones. Come Fall/Winter it's almost the only thing I wear.

Great boots.

I've got 2 pair. 1 for fishing and working around the house.

Another clean pair that I wear a lot during the rainy season going to the store etc.
