Any experience with Seaark boats

Been looking for a new rig for a few months. Local dealer has a couple of Sea-arks I’m considering.
Boat will be a 1860 with 60hp tiller. Will be used for hunting out of mostly. They have two series, the slayer (new duck boat) and a DXS.
Anyone have any experience with sea arks? Just looking for overall quality and advice for them.
Thanks OB

had a 20 ft (72 wide) Seaark in Alaska with a 90 four stroke yamaha.
Was a great boat for duck hunting in the tundra. Only thing I didn't like about it was riding the river to the spots with any decent kind of wind as it was a bit of a rough rider with wave action.

My father owns a 17'CC. It is about 4 years old with a Yammi F70. It's main use for us is fishing the saltwater marsh and sound. It apears to be a very well built boat. I dont recall a single problem with Seaark design or build. The decks are super solid with zero oil can effect when walking around. Lemme know if ya want more specifics and I'll try to help ya.

yah they are solid boats. I would have love to brought my down from Alaska, but it was going to be waaay to expensive to transport from rural Alaska.
They are almost perfect marsh boats for down here.

We have a 16' with a 50hp Johnson on it. My dad bought it in the late 90's or early 2000's and we've had zero issues with it.

Both of these models have a flat floor, which I like. One has a mid deck, with higher sides. The other is a straight up duck boat.
Both have rear pod seating with storage, gun/rod holders, storage up front also.

I have a 16ft SeaArk, came with a steering wheel with console/live well, 25hp wasn’t much room for decoys, dog, other people etc.
I took the console out and converted engine to tiller. Plenty of room now. Got new in 1998, still a great boat.

I used to fish catfish tournaments in a Sea Ark Pro Cat 240. I used to travel over the country tournament fishing in that thing and it was a beast. If I had time to do that now, I'd buy another one tomorrow.
I get the itch but I can't even enter the catfish tournament locally at Lake Texoma because my current fishing boat doesn't have a 50 gallon livewell (that Pro Cat had an 80 gallon).

I've got a 1760 sea ark side console with mid deck and high sides. It has a 50 etec on it. It's a beast. Not a speed boat, runs 34 tops. But I'm not sure I want to be going any faster in an alum boat. It has a semi v and still gets real shallow. It's a very well built boat. Couldn't recommend enough. For the mass produced alum boats, sea ark is near the top. For S La, you can fish the shallows, inside rocks, and duck hunt with pirogues.

I’ve repaired a lot of them. My opinion is probably biased because I only see the broken ones out of the many that they sell, but the structural design and weld quality is pathetic in all of them I’ve looked , especially in the areas you can’t see. The only worse brand I’ve seen is Polar Kraft.
Here’s some photos from under the deck of a nearly new boat, maybe 1 year old.

I have had the slayer with a 50 Mercury on it for two months now. I love it. Runs 40ish, Got 36 out if it with 5 people one morning running trot lines.

I appreciate the feedback from all. Seem to be solid built, just don’t see a lot of them around.
I’m not going to beat around in it every single weekend, but it will get the bulk of the work during hunting season.

I had 1995 17ft model.
They are an ok boat.
Had a few welds brake over the years.
Only issue is they had a rail on the outside go down the middle of the boat.
The weld broke on that rail and pushed the rail against the hull to make a cut in the bottom.
They cut the crack, cut the rail up a few inches, put a plate, and welded the rail back.
Really after that had a few welds brake on the inside over the years just nothing major.
It was an ok boat for what I paid.
