He had to come, once again, and stir up trouble.
You need to grow up and get over your little cop fantasy.

Tied down, of course.

Ah, i told yall. He cannot settle for peace and professionalism.
Once again he is back starting trouble. Gave him many outs. He desires trouble.
Now, like clockwork, he is trying to insert himself into a clique.
Now once again, i offer DAWG the opportunity to act professional and keep the peace. Balls in your court cap. Act like an adult and stop causing trouble on this forum.
We can go 300 pages, all weekend, or you can maintain the peace and not reply with yet more trouble starting statements.

Yeah was thinking the same thing, it hasn’t been like this on here for while not sure what changed?!?!?
But was reminded of a Bible verse and ended up reading several verses so at least some good came out of it for me besides the This is some OT level weird shite going on in here
Proverbs 26:4 Context
1As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, so honour is not seemly for a fool. 2As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. 3A whip for the horse, a bridle for the arse, and a rod for the fool's back. 4Answer not a fool according to his folly, lest thou also be like unto him. 5Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit. 6He that sendeth a message by the hand of a fool cutteth off the feet, and drinketh damage. 7The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools.

I would love to find a 9mm revolver for my wife.
Is there such a thing as a 9mm revolver? If not, I wonder why?

Got one of those, too. Just don't have the fancy grips. It's a hoot to shoot, too.

I think Jerry miculuk did a bunch of his record shoots with a 9mm Smith and wesson. Moon clips can be really fast. I always wished my 357's had them. Using speedloaders always seemed like a joke to me. If I dry up a revolver, there no way I'd manage to reload it via speedloader. Too much coordination needed and they're a pain to carry.

quote:I've seen those videos for years, and even refer to them in my classes. But until you mentioned it I had never looked at how he was accomplishing those reloads. He's carrying the moon clip on his competition belt right where he carries speed loaders.

P.S. As fast as he is with revolvers, I can attest to his being even faster with semi -autos. When I scheduled my 2-day lesson with Jerry, he asked what gun I'd be bringing. I told him it would be a G19 -- and that's what he used for 2 days as he demonstrated techniques he uses and those he avoids.

Is 357 or 44 mag the better revolver if you're not going to be concealing?
Posted on 1/20/22 at 2:13 pm to El Segundo Guy
I carry the gun I can control best for quick, accurate follow-up shots. You might only have to deal with one assailant -- but FBI stats (if we can believe the FBI) say you have over a 50% chance of encountering two or more attackers. And their studies say each bad guy (statistically) will need more than one shot to be neutralized.
There are too many gangs out there to any of us to be complacent. And they have cars - they can move into areas that we normally think of as "safe".
So follow-up shots are likely to be more significant than was the case 20 years ago.

He has a video that's slow mo from some different angles of him doing a reload and going over why he does what he does. All he way down to using pointy 147 gr bullets so that they drop into the cylinder faster. Its absolutely amazing how perfected that reload is.
I just never thought about using any auto caliber in a revolver for concealed carry. Theres really no advantage over comparable rimmed cartridges. In the case of 357 magnum you can get significantly more horsepower per shot than 9mm.
