Figured this might be better suited for the OB. I have the cooler below but the plastic wheels are shite.

I'd go with some 33x12.50 Mickey Thompson's.

Do yourself a favor and fill the lid with expanding foam. Those lids are crap. Also lube the locking mechanisms on the extendable handle, this will help it last longer.

And the stock tires a perfect for drifting around corners when dragging to your party area!!

WHEELEEZ

Expensive as hell, but they work like a charm in the sand. I bought a cart for my Hobie, I think it was $225. Sounds outrageous, and I guess it is, but I was more than happy to pay it after dragging that heavy SOB on the sand for a day.

I have one.

Igloo all terrain cooler

The wheels are starting to rust some from saltwater though and the second set of hinges and latches are just about done. Need to go stainless I guess.

It's awesome for bringing 10 people's worth of beer to the beach for the day though

I like my manly hoisting the cooler pre beach workout. Gets the guns all fired up and impresses the ladies.

You do that crap with a loaded Yeti and your nuts will be in the sand.

I'll never buy a yeti for a beer/beach cooler though. I have an igloo cube that is at least 12 years old. It gets abused and still works. I just have to remember to put the sunscreen on after I get to the beach. My hands were too slippery to grip the handles one time, so I had to power clean it up to my shoulder and walk down the sand with it up there. And it was full of 24 beers, ice, and a bunch of food.

I can't believe I hadn't previously thought of this. I use my cube a lot and I've always noticed it doesn't keep ice as well as it should.

Thanks for sharing

Wha kind of scam is this?

No scam. For the beach, they are the best. There aren't any other options for the beach that come close to those things. They float on top of the sand. Real lifesavers.

Yeah, you're right.

I just didn't think they'd be that much.

This.

Family goes to Fla every year with a 15' Hobie and hauling that thing across the 100 yds of beach got exponentially easier with the beach wheels.

Rigged up a set for the big ice chest and works like a charm.
