Anybody fish lake rosemound in the last couple of weeks? If so what were the fish biting on? I killed them last year on a watermelon blue baby brushing in April and May.

Were you the one that posted saying you were gonna fish today at FR or spillway?

Isn't this a private Lake? I have an old friend that has a place here and wasn't sure if just anyone could go and fish (w/out being invited)

Yes it's a private lake but I've seen folks posting about fishing out there. It's got really good fishing and was hoping to get a heads up on the fishing report.

Waters super muddy right now and prob will be for at lease another week. Caught a couple on chrome rattle traps and white/chart. spinner baits. Theyre bedding on the north side rock levee, and you can pickup a couple back in the shallow cuts in the north. Slow slow slow until this water clears up. Post your results

We had a camp at Rosemound for years... Around this time of year I would go to the north flats and fish a sexy shad rattle trap. Rip it through the grass real fast and it was almost an automatic bite. Also, if the wind is blowing the water underneath the bridge, cast under the bridge with a 8-12 ft crank bait and try to bang it against the rocks as fast as you can.(cast from the ski side of the lake) we had many doubles whenever the wind was blowing real good. If the fish havent moved up to the shallows they will definatly be off the main points deep. Caught many big girls off the points with the biggest deep diver crank bait I could find..Citrus shad seemed to be the best color. Also Baby Brush Hogs in watermelon or green pumpkin off those deep points.

Do you own property out there? If so, there were 2-3 memberships available last year. They went through the wait list, and no one wanted them at that time.

I caught a couple of fish pushing 5 pounds last year off the rocks on the ski side of the lake last year.

My family had a camp out there a few years back.. I have been interested in getting a membership without owning land, but I thought they were full.
