So I'm looking at buying a 2 man ladder to move around as needed at the lease due to mostly having box stands. I know the Millennium L220 is the answer, but wanted to know if anyone has had good experiences with the L205?

The millennium L205 $299

While I'm asking, what about the muddy, X stand, Primal, Rivers edge? They are all the sling style seats built like the Millennium.

Thanks for the help.

I haven’t hunted out of the stand you are asking about, but I have hunted from a millennium lock on a couple times. I don’t see anything wrong with the ladder stand in question.

LINK with a quick note about the difference

I've been wondering the same thing. I believe the platform is bigger and that is seemingly the biggest difference.

quote:

The L220 is sure to follow the success of the L200 as a favorite for two-person hunts. Weighing 103 pounds, the L220 has all of the standard features of the L200, but with a platform that is twice as big as the L200. The L220's full-size platform and folding ComfortMax Seat make standing shots with a gun or bow a breeze.

Tried to find a side by side comparison to show what that means but I couldn't.

Rookie here, so I don't know how to post a picture but the Millennium catalog in front of me shows the platforms as the same size (40"x 32"). From what I can tell, the ladder is the difference...The 220 has a double vertical rail and the 205 is a single rail with brace. I think this is the design from the Ol'Man stands when they bought Ol'Man (literally in the same catalog).

I think the 205 is the same as the Ol'Man Assassin double ladder.

Edit* I pulled the trigger today on the 205, so we'll see. Mackspw, sign up for the newsletter = $15 off. $314 shipped.

My single X Stand ladder is the most comfortable and quiet stand I’ve hunted out of Millennium ladders included.

So Ive researched the hell out of them the last two days. The only difference I'm seeing between the L200 and L220 is on the L220 the size of the platform under the seat is bigger and the seat flips up. Had a few different supports also. I believe they both have double railed ladders.

Now while on Millenniums website, I saw the link to the Ole Man website, which Millennium bought. They now have an ole man 2 man stand with Millennium seats for $250ish. Looks like best of both worlds. LINK
I'm going to ask my local sporting good store about ordering this one. And I like how it mounts to tree at the lower part of the seat. The L200 mounts at top of seat, and L220 mounts at bottom platform.

How is this a double railed ladder?LINK

From my catalog (just ordered):

LINK

The catalog states that the L205 "folds up or down" and the dimensions in the catalog show the same platform size.

After reading your post and linked article (2012), there is no L200 on the Millennium website. It is the L205 and L220 that are two man ladders.

Looks like a good buy. I would make sure to get the anti-slip tape to put on the top of the ladder steps

Always remember Hunter Safety Systems
