Anyone wear Pirarucu Boots?

I see those a lot in CenLa and NorthLa. I like them but don't have a pair, probably take more maintenance than just ostrich or cow leather.

The leather apparently can't handle getting wet well at all, and the fish they're made from is extremely overfished. I actually love the way they look but there are better options out there, especially considering the price.
