These bastards leave me presents every morning on my back porch

I've always heard that canadas taste better than snows but they're no where close to specks. I've never eaten one though, so take it fwiw

but no, they're tough I've heard. People shoot the hell of them up north but that's cuz they don't have our supply of specks

Goose breast, filleted, stuffed with jalapenos and cream cheese, and grilled on the pit are awesome!

They are the toughest bird ever to pluck I know that for a fact. I hunted them in Arkansas a lot but I never ate them

You don't pluck a goose, skin it, fillet the breast and either save the rest of the carcass for a gravy or throw it.

middle of the road as far as geese go...I eat them, because I like to hunt them, but all geese pretty much suck IMO....ok if you can kill enough of them to fillet breasts and make sausage, though...

Skin em, breast em, mix em with pork and make sausage.
Save all the legs, pressure cooker for 20, transfer to crock pot, cover with your favorite bbq sauce and they are awesome!

*Canada Geese

They probably taste no different than American geese. Canada Geese taste good, though.

So they are called Canada Geese and not Canadian Geese? Color me flabbergasted
Posted on 6/14/12 at 5:46 am to TigerTatorTots
Yes canadian geese reference all geese that are native to Canada. Canada geese is their actual name.

They are def better than snows. Went on a hunt in Lubbock, TX and killed a ton of em.
Highly recommend the goose sausage!
Or dice em up and put em on skewers for shishkabobs with bacon, onions, bellpeppers.

Yep that pressure cooker will make even a bastard skunk taste delicious and tender!

Sky carp. Only way I cn eat them is the before-mentioned Jal/CreamCheese/bacon skewers. Tried gumbo, pot roast etc. Terrible.
