The wife and I take a yearly fishing trip to Guntersville and we came across that nest our first trip there. The bird flew around us for a while and we were just mesmerized by it the whole time.

And the other Kincaid nest has a pair till actively nest building with no eggs. The chat comments claim it is now too late for egg laying in La. due to heat.

Did the surviving eaglet start eating the dead one at the Kisatchie nest?

E3-03 has left the nest once and spent the night on the ground. It returned to the nest the next day and ever since has not attempted to fly.

Great to see this beautiful, majestic bird is making a comeback.

They're eating like crazy, at least 5 fish today. Very cool

E-3 03 flew from the nest this morning. It's been circling around the area a bit.

My wife is a first grade teacher and has played this exact live feed for her kids for a few years now. They love these damn birds.

I’m kind of embarrassed to say I watch all of the nests mentioned in this thread. BBV was the first one I watched but have caught on to KNF and a couple others. The NCTC nest with young pair Bella and Scout and their 3 eaglets has been a part of my routine. Sat night I went to check on that nest and it was gone. Apparently at about 10 pm local time a storm blew it out of the tree it was in for 22 years. The rangers immediately approached and found the 3 eaglets dead. The footage was pretty sad as you could see the mom and babies unsettled as the nest swayed around. Dad has been perching for a few days in sight and I believe mom has been seen so they are ok. Last year was the first year they hatched babies and dad got confused and killed them so the loss of the month old eaglets really sucks for this pair. Still glad for BBV and that funny eagle family and crazy E303… but daaaang nature… you’re scary.
