I know there was a thread on here recently about shotguns but this is specifically about Beretta.

I currently own an A300 and I love it, but I’m planning on handing it down to my younger brother who is just getting into hunting.

I’m leaning towards the Xtreme Plus, unless there is a good reason to go with one of the other two options. MSRP ranges from ~$1400 for the Lite to $1650 for the Plus.

Any reasons why one would favor the less expensive options over the Plus other than price?

Thanks OB

the Plus is what I'll be shooting this season. Best hunting shotgun on the market right now based on price and features. It finally pulled me away from Benelli

Just got in from shooting clays this morning. 15 year old grandson has the Xtreme Plus - after six boxes of shells he wanted to keep shooting (I wussed out due to the heat, told him we'll shoot some more another day).

My A400 Xplor is a great shotgun. But the Xtreme Plus is in a whole nuther league. It's a really soft shooting gun that will literally handle any shell you try in it.
