the boat was fully serviced and detailed feb 2020 and has been stored indoors since.

It won’t last long then. I would be surprised if it lasts more than a few days once posted online.

we bought a pre-owned one for 60k at the time. it should have probably sold for 70-80k at the time. but it was an oilfield guy who had a couple and needed to dump one. looked for a couple years before finding the right deal.
probably could sell now for 50-60k easy based on what i've seen.

I did a thread similar to this.

Lots of good suggestions and I thought I had narrowed my search down to a few brands but now I’ve been presented with a Wellcraft 22’ bay boat

I don’t have a clue. I just know that the brand didn’t exactly register very high on the responses.
Anyone got word good bad other other?

I have a friend that put his triton 22 LTS up for sale. I think it is on Cajun outboards website! 2008 boat. 250 mercury. Lightly used. Very nice!

Honestly didn’t even realize they still made Wellcraft. Only ones I ever see seem to be older models. I don’t have any experience with them. I just pulled up their website to check out some of their features and layouts.

Which model are you looking at?

I’m looking at the 2020 - 221 model

I watched some reviews and read some stuff. Decent layout with well thought out attributes

I just don’t know squat about the brand.

My ol man had a Welcraft growing up. V20 maybe? 150hp Yamaha. Walkthrough windshield layout. That was a fantastic boat. He had it for 15yrs and sold it in 1999. Went out to Chandeleur pretty regularly as well as fished Biloxi Marsh a ton.

Running a 2004 Skeeter 24 bay. Still love this boat. I have been offered a lot more than I paid for it originally. Still in great shape. Will keep it till it dies!

No way you're running into 55 mph wind in a 19 foot bay boat for 40 miles.

That is 30 foot cat weather

Nice. That’s a heavy sled with a lot of freeboard. It will ride awesome.

Just checked out a video of one since it’s been a while since I looked them over. Love the center jump seat in the rear which opens to allow great mechanical access. Also like the side open door on the console.
