Best/Favorite/Recommended Dedicated 5.56 Suppressor

Wanting to finish off an 11.5" SBR with a dedicated suppressor. Even though "dedicated," I still like QD mounts. Recommendations? Was thinking AAC SR5, but it's a little heavier than I'd hope, though maybe not enough to notice?

Go listen to a bunch of suppressors. Tone is more important than weight IMO. I like a deeper tone but the best metering cans usually have a high pitched sound to them. I mean, don't add half a pound for a marginally better can but an ounce or two doesn't make a huge difference in my experience. You are saving a good amount of weight knocking off 5" of barrel.

I would highly suggest looking into otter creek labs hes putting in serious work being a smaller producer and he is starting to have better results than the bigger guys. Most of his cans are cheaper than the competition too
Here's his ig and hes a trip to follow LINK =

PewScience is all you need. The new HuxWrx(OSS) 556k can did amazing at the ear in his testing. Very little backpressure too.

Was also on my list. Like that design, assuming it works to keep the blowback down. That Otter Creek Polonium might be worth a try for under $600 though.

Whole lot of depends of what you want out of a 5.56z I settled on a surefire Socom RC2. It’s not the lightest or quietest but that fricker it’s built like a German panzer tank. I’ve had it for 6 years put several 1000 rds through including .224 Valkyrie and it’s as good today as the day I bought it. Surefire also has some of the best brakes and comps as well.
The final thing that sold me was their is very little point of impact shift with using the Sirefire. I know you say it’s dedicated but if you ever have to take it off in an emergency you don’t want your gun to be 6 inches low to the right.

Polonium is good. Very good. It's also gassy. Very gassy. You will want to tune your gun a lot for that can. Run a very heavy buffer and spring. Look at the PewScience data on it.
