Best work boot conditioner/waterproofing

So I have a pair of hybrid work/cowboy boots that I use for hunting and field work. They are advertised as waterproof and were/are but the leather is getting in bad need of reconditioning. What is the best one out there that you know of, I have used mink oil but I would assume there is something better out there.

I use mink oil, but have heard Sno-seal is solid.

Check the manufacturer website if the waterproofing is still working. Some conditioners will ruin it.

Saddle soap, then choice of conditioner, then choice of beeswax containing waterproofer

I got in a situation where I needed to give my leather boots a boost but was too far from civilization.
The only thing I had was Balistol. Seemed to work good enough.
