They broke ground on the pool, clubhouse, grill/bar, fitness center. Moving lots of earth around on the west side, close to the northern end of the lake. The marina/gas is going on the far south end next to the boat launch but I think that is going to happen after they finish the other amenities.
Is this recently? They been pushing dirt around right there for a couple of years

They were all over it this weekend. Looks like they enlarged that area, brought in a bunch of dirt, completed all seawall and were moving a ton of dirt.

I always thought they’d put the Marina /store on the northern part of the lake on the western shore.
I guess since the launch is on the southern side, it makes sense to have a Marina down there but it sure would be convenient to the boat owners on the north end to have it all in one spot.
One of the reasons we got out of there was because of the hassle of gassing up the boats and wave runners. They told us they were going to be putting in a Marina but never did. I had like 15 -5 gallon gas cans running in rotation during the summer. I got too old for that.

I'd like to see the plans for the pool/grill/bar/clubhouse/fitness center

What price per square foot have homes been going for? Looking at a place but the price is close to $600 per sq ft. Is that in line of what places have sold for recently?

Yes. That’s for new construction. Mind-blowing.

Thanks. That is crazy.

Bumping this thread. Did not pull the trigger on the house we were looking at two years ago but are still looking. Does anyone know the homeowners association rules on installing a pool on your property?

Bump do they allow Airbnb out there?

My family has a pool on our property.

Beautiful lake and can see significant growth going out there but curious as to whether you can VRBO your house out there.

You can’t short term rent your house out. Been looking there and that may be a deal breaker for me

I ended up buying on the water in Bay St Louis. Still have all the water activities but close to a lot of bars, restaurants, and good golf.
