Boat Trailer to Utility Trailer Conversion (Update)

So i got the trailer done. Maybe went a bit overboard, but it looks nice. I might have $500-$600 in it. that's a lot cheaper than tractor supply or lowes for the size (minus a rail and ramp). it's 14'x6' ($2000 at those places). here are some pictures.
also, i do plan on putting a rail and a ramp on it eventually, but for now, it's serviceable as is.

Looks like it's built like a tank. Only concern I see is the trailer jack. Does it swing out of the way and not contact your truck in a tight turn? Just seems awful close to the tongue.

Damn good job. Looks solid as hell.

I used cold firmed “C” girts (metal building stuff) for the cross members.
The jack actually came with trailer. I had to take it to get tagged yesterday. It seemed to maneuver around the corners just fine. However, I might move it back to be safe. Thanks for the heads up.

If you zoom in, it looks like there is a pull on the left to rotate up.
Nice job, Finch

it does swivel. there's a spring pin you pull out and rotate. then it pops in place. it should be fine.

Looks good. I would put some trailer fenders on it.
