Breaking in a Carhartt jacket - Advice

In case none of you venture to the OT.
I know that wearing it is going to be the most obvious answer and I'm doing that but I'm wondering if anyone here has any "real" tips on helping speed up the process.
My work had some co-op money left to spend with one of our suppliers before the end of 2013 so they bought us all Carhartt jackets. We were thinking they would be knock-offs but ended up being the real deal and a pretty nice style jacket.
However, I think from the way they were packaged and the fact that it has the wool like material on the inside for extra warmth they are a little bulky in the shoulders.
I've washed it about 3 times already and hung it up to try by the collar so that the shoulders droop. So, I'm looking for some ways to help break it in along with wearing it to help.

Just keep washing it. I got a new one 2 years ago. I was floored at the difference in the 2.
It's a heavy duty jacket and it's never going to get very soft like terry cloth...

Yeah, I didn't think about posting it on here until after I had posted it. Big mistake so far.

Yeah, this one is definitely heavy duty and it's warm as can be, but it looks like it has shoulder pads in the shoulders like women's sweaters used to have back in the day, haha.

fine sand paper and olive oil. Give it a rub down. Put in sun for 8 hours.

That's what I figured. I've been wearing it the past couple days with the cold temps. When I'm not wearing it I'm sitting on it or beating the piss out of it with a flashlight.

Two things to try:
Wash and dry, but put shoes or dryer balls in with it. Should beat it up some
Get it wet (like really wet) and wear it out in the sun to dry. Should conform to your body shape

Yeah I saw that one, but it wouldn't work. No Bama fans I know are crying about anything.

Beat it against the trunk of a large Nuttall, Willow or Cherrybark red oak. Over and over again.

I've been using a forklift to do this on.

This. Put it in the dryer on the "air" setting with dryer/tennis balls.

Carry lots of heavy crossties and pipe around the job site. That'll flatten them shoulders down.

Work just bought me one because I have to do some field work in the coming months. Idk which jacket you have, but I don't find mine to be too stiff.

I don't know the exact style number or name but this is it.

Saturate it in WD-40, stuff with basketballs, wrap it tight and put it in the oven @ 200 for 2 hours. I did this with mine and it's extremely soft now
