Brownells offering HK417 parts kit

Got an email earlier from Brownells regarding HK417 parts kits. Now it's expensive to put it mildly but if some one's got the itch, could be a heads up. The kit is missing the lower receiver, barrel and bolt; however, Brownells has stated they will be offering all 3 missing parts and those who purchase the kit will be notified.
The kit is listed for $2500. Steep and yes cheaper alternatives are available but it'll be rare and unique to have in collection.

I take it the 417 is a 7.62 version of the 416? May as well just get a SCAR 17 instead.

For the prices of those 2 guns,I think I would rather go for a Larue OBR but that's just me.
