Is there really that much difference? Aren’t they pretty much the same shotgun? Winchester 101 is $1200 less.

I have a Browning Citori, is a fine firearm. I do not have a Winchester 101, so can’t speak to comparisons, but for $1200 difference in price, I’d doubt they are the same, identical shotgun…

I doubt it. The winchester is probably a fine shotgun but I seriously doubt they use the same internals. Probably very similar design but less hand fitting in the cheaper gun

I have a citori and have handled a 101 in the store. They are not the same gun. The citori locks up tighter and the internals can go through far more shells before the locking lugs start to loosen. However, you are paying for that deer head logo on the gun. If you want it just for hunting or doves/clays for recreation, get the 101 if it feels better. Look for a well-kept Ruger Red Label on gunbroker as well.

my citori is coming up on 30 duck seasons. Still locks up tight and swings like a dream
