Can I use a fixed stock over a carbine buffer/tube?

I've got a carbine buffer tube already and would like to use that on my next rifle build. The stock I've found is a fixed rifle stock.
There's no reason not to use the carbine buffer tube I already have right? I'd just use a carbine buffer.
This is for a 224 Valkyrie/6.5 Grendel upper (not sure which one yet).

There are a select few that I know of that will fit on a carbine tube (like the Magpul gixed carbine stock). Most fixed stock buffer tubes are just that, a plain tube. They dont have the rail of slots on the bottom for the adjustable stocks to engage.

You're right. I see that on the stock I was looking at. Thanks
