I am looking at getting a couple of new cellular trail cameras for this year season, any recommendations? What works best for you?

A lot of people really like the Tactacam cell cameras. I have never had one but people really like I have 2 Spypoint Minis. The majority of people hate them but mine have been fine for me for about 5-6 years. I have some friends that have Spartan cameras and love them but they are $$$$$.

I just ordered a Stealth Cam based on my brother's recommendation. He's had two or three out for a few years and hasn't had any issues. Sam's has the Sonix Pro for $79 with SD card and batteries. Tractor Supply has the Fusion Pro for $99. I almost went with a Browning since it's on sale at Tractor Supply for $55 but didn't see very many people saying good things about them.

Wise Eye looks great if you’re going to run 12 or more cams. Anything less than that I’d look at Tactacam. There service starts at $13 for the 1st cam then $12 for each cam after.
I think Stealthcam is similar but the price drops to I think $8 per additional cam but the cameras aren’t as good and always give me problems.

I and a few buddies have had some tactacams that are going on over 4-5yrs now and can’t say a bad thing about them.
I picked up two stealth cams walking through Walmart for 40$ and said WTH for 40$ I try it. I have two months on it and so far no complaints yet.

Tactacam has the best reputation. I’ve had good luck with Browning this year.

Tactacams are great if racoons and pigs are your thing. Mine do not seem to capture pictures of deer, though.

Are you sure that's the camera's fault?

I have Moultrie cell cams. They work well for me.

I have a couple of Tactacams and a few Stealthcams
The tactacams have been great for the time I’ve had them which is around 1.5 yrs
I am currently pretty sour at Stealthcam. I have 3 that are working and they’re doing great. I have 3 of theirs though that have crapped out and the reason I’m currently not happy is that I started a warranty claim on the newest of their cams which was 9-10 months old when it quit. Started the claim in July and still don’t have a replacement. Their customer service and tech are all overseas. I sent a couple of emails to there “customer service” email only to get crickets.
That said, the cameras take great pics. The cameras are cheap but their plan is more than tactacam.
I’ve had covert cameras as well. The photo quality on those is shite.

My son got me a Browning for Christmas a few years ago and it worked fine. The only reason I'm not using it anymore is that the squirrels chewed it to flinders.
P.S. I'm done mounting my cameras on trees. Either the industry has changed the composition of their cameras to make them more attractive or my squirrels have become cell cam cannibals; I've lost more cameras to tree rats in the last 3 years than the previous 10 combined.

They all have pros and cons. Make sure you know what kind of service you have in the area. Just keep in mind you are putting an electronic device with batteries, software, and SD cards in the elements for months at a time. shite happens. If you buy enough of any brand you at probably gonna have an issue with one of them.

Have money to spend? Spartan and Wiseye are the best.
I do have a StealthCam 360 that is working really well. Very happy with it paired to their solar battery

I have 3 Moultrie. I’ve been using them for several years without any problems. I had 1 cell cam stolen a few years ago. Called Moultrie to deactivate it and they sent me a replacement at no cost, Their customer service has been great.

I ran tactacams up until last year. Started having trouble with them and they are batteries up. I switched over to 16 of the Wise eye Data cam 2 cameras and have been very satisfied so far.

I had also bought a couple of the new Browning’s to compare to the Wise eye. The battery life is better on the Brownings but you wouldn’t believe the pictures missed that the WiseEye picks up.

Get Wiseeye and don’t look back. Great picture quality and product, but the selling point is their customer service. It is second to none!

Left Tactacam for Spypoint Flex series cameras. ZERO probs for over 2 years. Newest one has awesome video. Got 3 of them on solar and havent touched them since last year been out all summer. Flex G-36 looks like 4k ultra when you get pics its so good.

WisEye. Clarity and customer service are top notch.

Switched over from 1st Gen Tactacam's as they kept eating Sim cards. Running all Spartan Go Cam's now and couldn't be happier.
